HTC’s new phablet rumored w/ QHD display, 810 CPU, UltraPixel cam

A Brazilian website claims to have the exclusive scoop on HTC‘s alleged phablet. It will reportedly be called the Hima Ace Plus and will run on the latest Qualcomm processor, a 2K resolution display, and more.

HTC Hima Ace Plus rumored specs:
5.5-inch QHD display @ 2560 x 1440 resolution
2.3GHz Anapdragon 810 processor
3GB RAM
32GB internal storage
20MP rear camera
4MP UltraPixel front camera
3000mAh battery

The loosely-translated wesbite also includes a “fingerprint reader” that can be activated even on standby mode. In addition, the alleged phablet could be expected to come on August or September. Do remember, though, to take it with a grain of salt until nothing is still official.

Seems like everyone’s hopping in on the QHD bandwagon these days. What do you think?

Smartphone preferences now all boils down to design/build quality as the hardware specs are all upgrading: QHD screen, SD810, 3GB+ RAM, etc. HTC and Sony are known for outstanding designs of aluminum and glass built phones. Also software-wise I prefer their light/less cluttered Xperia and Sense UI. :)

They should change the name when they launch it here in the Philippines. LOL
