Aside from the big 6.6-incher smartphone, Honor has also announced a new mobile device but aimed for the lower-end market with its cheap price tag and is the successor the Honor 4 Play.

The Honor 5 Play is Huawei’s sub-brand offering for those who are looking for a new smartphone without spending too many bucks. The device has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Camera-wise, it’s got a pretty basic 8MP and 2MP sensors. The phone has 4G connectivity drawing power from its 2200mAh battery. It runs Android (version to be determined) with EMUI on top.
