Huawei Mate 10 Pro scores 97 in DxOMark’s smartphone camera test

If you’ve seen our first shots on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, you probably won’t be surprised that the said device got an overall score of 97 in DxOMark’s smartphone camera test.

In a test summary, the Mate 10 Pro got a Photo sub-score of 100 points, which also aligns with the Samsung Galaxy Note8’s photo sub-score. Its pros include: good exposures, particularly in indoor conditions; a very good wide aperture mode, which produces a mild, but attractive bokeh effect with few artifacts; and outstanding autofocus performance. Video-wise, the device got a sub-score of 91 points. Its pros include: fast and accurate autofocus, good tracking capabilities and, generally low levels of noise.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro no doubt has a camera at par with the present flagships. However, I can never believe DxOMark’s scores again since the Pixel XL 2 score. Images produced by Note 8 and iPhone 8+ are better and yet, they gave a Pixel XL 2 score of 98. Masyado silang bias. And take a look at what they did to Nokia 808 pureview. Siniraan nila. Though it is a 2012 technology, it can compete with the present camera phones. Malamang, mas magaganda pa siguro kuha doon. Take a picture at 38MP and downscale it, there won’t be any noise.

Again, I don’t trust DxOMark. I don’t know about you
