Tagging along the HUAWEI Mate XT tri-folding phone is the brand’s new premium tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2-inch (2025).

On paper, it retains the majority of features from its predecessor and brings upgrades to some areas, specifically the cameras and charging.

The new tablet now comes with a 50-megapixel main camera at the rear (from 13-megapixel) accompanied by the same 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor.

Battery pack remains the same, rated at 10,100mAh, but it gets a faster charging speed at 100W (previously, 88W).

Price and availability

While Huawei has yet to announce the price of the new MatePad Pro, pre-orders are now open for the Philippines with a deposit of Php1,000.

The full payment is scheduled on February 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM. This could also mean that the new tablet along with the new products Huawei unveiled in Malaysia will also arrive in the country shortly.
