Listen to article

The HUAWEI nova Y73 has been unveiled, making its global debut as the latest addition to the budget-friendly Y-series smartphones.

It has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. As per usual, HUAWEI has yet to confirm its chipset. However, it does come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

For cameras, it has a 50-megapixel shooter at the rear with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. What stands out is its massive 6,620mAh battery with support for 40W of fast charging.

It will ship with EMUI 12 with other features like its IP64 rating, NFC, and a programmable Enjoy X button. For those wondering why it’s not going to run with HarmonyOS, this offering will be available globally.

Sadly, details on pricing and availability have yet to be announced. We’ll be updating readers though as this is a developing story that’s still fresh.
