Huawei’s Y series of smartphones are being made official in the country through telco companies — this time, the entry-level Y3 2017 makes its way to Globe Telecom’s postpaid plans.

The processing chip used in the local variant of the Y3 2017 is not yet determined. The Huawei Y3 2017 is available with Globe Postpaid starting at MyLifestyle Plan 799 (1.5GB mobile internet, 10GB GoWATCH, 50 All-Net Texts, 50 Mins. Calls to Globe/TM, and Free Facebook with 1GB data allocation per month for 24 months) with a Php500 cash out, or through Globe MyFi Plan 999 with a free mobile WiFi hotspot for Php1,599 per month. Both plans have the Y3 2017 bundled with Huawei’s Tab 3 (7″) tablet and are now available both online and at the Globe stores.
