We were able to spot Lenovo’s latest budget handset — Vibe K5 — on Villman last month but eyebrows were raised due to its rather high price tag compared to its original Indian launch.
Just earlier, Lenovo Mobile Philippines has posted the announcement of availability for the Vibe K5 and its official SRP at Php 6,999. That’s no different than the early listing online and might disappoint consumers who expected the official pricing to be lower or even near the Indian price tag of RS 6,999 or less than Php 5k.
Nevertheless, you’re still getting pretty good specs thanks to its 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 415 octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. The 13MP and 5MP shooters are also good addition to the already decent specs.
