We spotted a price drop earlier at SM Megamall for the LG G5, the brand’s flagship back in 2016. It’s a rather hefty cut too, at almost half the price.

It sports a 5.3-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 16MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, 8MP front camera, and 2,800mAh battery. Take a look at our review here.

  1. What?! That is a big drop in price. Was expecting a couple of thousands but that’s almost half the price.

  2. Much more interested with the poster on the right… LG Q6 discounted to 8,990.

  3. i have this phone for 2 years now, solid build and still pretty good even by today’s standards(games, etc.) heck i’ll just replace the battery for a newer one to get more juice out of it and I’m set.

  4. At least better than iphone 6 for the same price :-)

  5. Why buy a “brand new” 2-year old phone? The reason why they keep dropping the prices is for them to get rid of their old stock. If they had priced it reasonably during launch, then they wouldn’t have this problem.
