LG Optimus G to retail for Php24,990

Listen to article

Formal media and dealer’s launch of the LG Optimus G is happening on March 6 and though release date and suggested retail price have not been officially announced, we’ve got word that they’re selling the Optimus G at the same SRP as the Nexus 4.

This means the likely suggested retail price of the Optimus G will be about Php24,990 (give or take a hundred pesos) which will match the price of the Nexus 4 when it first came out (this came from our source close to dealers of LG).

At the same time, the official SRP of the Nexus 4 will also be dropped by a couple of thousands less than the current price to make room for both handsets to sell well.

“…same function at experience din nman.”
No way, bro. This LG uses the Adreno 320 GPU, which I’m pretty sure your Cherry Mobile phone/tab cannot match. Good luck trying to play high def games on those.

I’d love to get this, but LG doesn’t have the best track record in updating their devices… that’s a dealbreaker for me… Great hardware for the price if ever though.

For that price, I would recommend this phone instead of the SGS3 which is also selling at the same range. Newer CPU, 2GB RAM, and with more premium materials. Let’s hope that LG has been more tardy in releasing their software updates.
