Meizu M5S officially lands in PH

Meizu’s official presence may be relatively new on the local scene, but it will not be wasting any time to bring its M5s smartphone in the country and has announced that it will be up for grabs starting this month.

First announced last February, the M5s sports beefier hardware compared to its predecessor. There are two official variants with different internal storage sizes, and Meizu will be bringing the one with a bigger capacity at 32GB.

Meizu M5S specs:

3GB LPDDR3 RAM
32GB internal storage
expandable via microSD up to 128GB (uses SIM2 slot)
13MP ƒ/2.2 rear PDAF camera with Dual LED flash
5MP ƒ/2.0 front camera
4G LTE
Dual-SIM (Hybrid), Dual Standby

WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 5GHz + 2.4GHz

According to information we’ve received, the first batch of the M5s that arrived in the country will be sold starting this week at Meizu concept stores, kiosks, and authorized outlets for Php8,999, and it will be bundled with Php1000 worth of freebies (TPU case, tempered glass) as part of a weekend promo from May 12-15.

    • Already corrected. Just waiting for the cache to refresh. Sorry about that.
