Motorola Pro+ announced, gets Touch & Type

Motorola Mobility has introduced a new Android smartphone, the Morotola Pro+, that sports both a full qwerty keyboard and a touch-screen display.

The handset follows the same concept as the Nokia E6, BB Bold 9900 but the closest would be the HTC Chacha and the Samsung Galaxy Pro.

Motorola expects to ship the device in Asia around October this year {via}. Suggested retail price was not indicated though.

This is actually priced as a mid-ranged mobilephone in Europe. Around 10k to 11k when converted to Philippine peso. But, of course, when it comes to Philippines, the distributor usually relatively doubles the price.

This would be an awesome social networking/tweeting/blogging (and Quora-ing for me) phone if it has a BlackBerry Bold-class keyboard.

And Motorola’s life just got extended by Google!

Ang ganda nito… This will be a good choice for a replacement for my E72 which will have its early retirement… ahahahaha….. Sana nga di masyadong mahal… Crossing my fingers…

Best Android qwerty phone in terms of specs, IMO.
Also, I like the fact that it looks really nice, in comparison to the other Android pros out there.
And the portrait screen is a big factor. :)
Sana nga reasonably priced, and sana ma officially release dito sa PHL.
