Nokia E73 Mode could be out next month

Just noticed this recently and almost forgot about it until I got an invitation from Nokia to attend their event in SG next month. The Nokia E73 Mode might just be one of the new handsets to be revealed there.

This one’s spotted by Engadget but it’s for T-Mobile USA and will be out on the 16th of June.

Incidentally, the Nokia Connection 2010 event will be held on June 15 in Singapore so that’s an uncanny timing there (timezones make up for the 24-hour difference).

Can’t imagine what else could Nokia add more to the E7x series that they’ve already had on the E71 and the E72 but I expect they’d just bump the specs and offer it cheaper than its predecessor.

    • @abeolandres wow.an upgrade of e72?thats more cooler

  1. The Nokia E7x series are really one of the best smartphones (in terms of specs and features) out there. They can even be a replacement to your BB if you want that familiar Nokia UI. One thing that I’m looking forward is the new Microsoft Communicator Mobile for Nokia, either for the Symbian or Java base MS Communicator Mobile. If the Nokia E7x already have what we need, what does the Microsoft Communicator Mobile can offer us?

  2. maybe the e71 will be phased out by the time the e73 is released..

  3. Maybe internal changes, like a faster processor perhaps? Or maybe better software> From my experience using the e71 and e72, the e71 feels faster compared to the e72 even though the e72 has a faster processor. Makes me even think twice if the e72 really has a 600mhz processor inside..

  4. Yes it would be nice if this had the same processor as the N900 then there would be no doubt that it should really zoom. The only other thing I could wish for as an upgrade to my E71 is that Nokia would fix some things that have been complained about for a long time such as being able to back up texts and other things in user created folders but that has been a complaint for many years and Nokia just ignores it.

  5. i like to try this phone…hope it fits my budget

  6. Hi, where did you get this information can you please support this with some proof or you may say some good reference as I and others will really

  7. it’s really a good phone. however, it’s still not available in the Philippines now. got mine now (a gift) but I need to have it unlocked so it will work here.

am still looking for a reliable unlocking service center somewhere online/offline

  8. Nokia E73 has Wi-Fi calling capabilities and this function allows user to use both Wi-Fi and cellular networks for calling.
