Nokia X6 begins rolling out globally starting from Hong Kong

Nokia’s next generation X device, the Nokia X6, begins its global journey starting from Hong Kong. It received quite the attention outside of China, where it first got released, prompting HMD Global to do a worldwide rollout.

According to a major Hong Kong publication, the report came from an inside source. The source also mentioned that the device will launch under a different name — Nokia 6.1 Plus. This will likely be the phone’s official global name for its worldwide release. Nothing will change except for the UI, which is now stock Android instead of the Chinese ROM.

The Nokia X6 is currently available in China for CNY 1,299 (~Php 10,430) for the 4GB + 32GB model, CNY 1,449 (~Php 11,634) for the 4GB + 64GB model, and CNY 1,699 (~Php 13,641) for the 6GB + 64GB model. Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced.

    • Possibly but we should consider competition such as xiaomi and asus. Imo prices will only increase when you are buying from middle man dealers. The increase should not be drastic maybe somewhere below 15k.

  3. I’ve been waiting for this phone to arrive. In shopee they’re selling this phone and ranges from 12k-13k, but i just don’t trust them that much. I was wondering which one is better when it comes to gaming performance and specs Huawei nova3i or the nokia x6.
