The OnePlus 5 has been a subject of multiple rumors since it is somewhat anticipated to be the flagship killer of the year. Thanks to a teaser landing page, we now know when it will be released and confirm some of its key specs.
The teaser page that the company posted is on Amazon India which acts as the exclusive retail partner for the OnePlus 5. According to the image, it will launch on June 22 at 2PM and will kickoff sale at 4:30PM.
Additionally, as pointed out by tipster @evleaks, digging through the source code of the teaser page reveals some of the specs of the handset like details for the CPU and a whopping 8GB of RAM.
The source code reads, “OnePlus 5 powered by 2.35GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM will release on 22 June 2017 as an exclusive at Amazon.in.”
Although still not official, this confirms the previous rumors on the use of Snapdragon 835. The 8GB RAM could possibly be the higher-end model with the base variant starting at 6GB RAM as we’ve heard before.
