OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5 now official

The OnePlus Nord 5 Series is now official, which includes the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5.

The Nord 5 has a 6.83-inch Swift AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Powering it is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

For cameras, it has a 50-megapixel main with OIS paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide at the rear. It also has a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. Plus, it packs a large 6,800mAh battery with support for 80W of SUPERVOOC fast charging.

OnePlus says it can be fully charged in under 60 minutes. In addition, it even supports bypass charging. Another notable change is the phasing out of the alert slider. In its place is the new Plus key, first seen with the OnePlus 13s.

For software support, OnePlus is committing 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches for the device. The device is also said to have Gemini integrations with a 3-month free trial of Google AI Pro for eligible users.

The Nord CE5, on the other hand, has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, it packs a Dimensity 8350 processor with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Similar to the Nord 5, it leverages a 50-megapixel main and 8-megapixel ultrawide for dual-shooters. At the front, it’s equipped with a 16-megapixel snapper instead.

The device packs a larger 7,100mAh battery, rated for up to 2.5 days of uptime by OnePlus. It supports bypass charging and the same charging speed at 80W.

Pricing and availability

After some teasing on social media, Digital Walker has revealed that they’re putting up the OnePlus Nord 5 Series for pre-orders in the Philippines. It will be running from July 9-20, 2025 at participating stores.

However, pricing has yet to be revealed. It should be up tomorrow on July 9th at 10:00 AM PHT for interested readers.
