Opensignal has published its new report, Benchmarking the 5G Experience – Asia Pacific. It is the definitive ranking of the 5G experience across the leading markets in the region.
Key observations for the Philippines is that the country has the greatest uplift between 4G to 5G in both average downloads speed and video experience across the 10 Asia-Pacific markets that were analyzed. The average download speeds are 8.9% times faster with 5G compared with 4G, and Filipino users have a 33% higher Video Experience score using 5G.
Filipino 5G users spend 11.1% of their time connected to 5G. Also, users enjoy average 5G download speeds of 136.6Mbps and peak 5G download speeds of 408.7Mbps in the Philippines.
