OPPO Find N5 launched globally

The OPPO Find N5 has been launched globally, touted as the thinnest foldable in the market right now. Some design highlights include its Titanium Flexion Hinge and its triple IP rating (IPX6, IPX8, IPX9).

It has a slim profile at 4.21mm when unfolded, thinner in comparison to the HONOR Magic V3 at 4.35mm. When folded, it has a thickness of 8.93mm instead. It’s fairly lighter compared to booklet-like foldables too, weighing 229 grams.

The device also has OPPO’s Cosmos Ring and an alert slider, making for seamless switches to silent, vibrate, and ring mode. The Find N5 is available in either Cosmic Black or Misty White color options.

Moving on, it has an 8.12-inch main display with 1-120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution at 412 ppi. OPPO also highlights its Invisible Crease to add to users’ immersive viewing experience.

There’s also its 6.62-inch cover screen with 2616 x 1140 resolution with 1-120Hz refresh rate. This display is ProXDR compatible with Ultra HDR.Plus, it supports the OPPO Pencil for note-taking, drawing, etc.

Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite that features an Adreno 830 GPU. It also comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Battery wise, it packs 5600mAh with 80W of SUPERVOOC fast charging support and 50W of AIRVOOC support.

For optics, it comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 main with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra wide, and a 50-megapixel telephoto. Its telephoto camera supports tele-macro, making it the first device to offer this feature.

For selfies, it’s equipped with 8-megapixel cameras on the main screen and cover screen. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and four microphones.

The Find N5 will ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. This skin comes with AI-powered functions like AI Clarity Enhancer, Unblur, Reflection Remover, AI Eraser, and AI Studio.

The OPPO Find N5 is priced at SGD 2,499 (~PHP 102.8K). It’s currently available in Singapore via limited pre-orders from February 21-27. There’s no word yet concerning its Philippine release, but we’ll keep readers posted when details arrive.
