OPPO’s Find X6 Pro has just gained the title of being the top smartphone camera in DXOMARK’s rankings.
The OPPO Find X6 Pro now ranks first on DXOMARK’s top smartphone cameras with a score of 153. The Find X6 Pro comes with a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor.
According to OPPO, it’s the largest sensor fitted onto an ultrawide camera to date. The same 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor is then used for the periscope unit. As for the front camera, it continues to use a 32MP IMX709 sensor.
In DXOMARK’s summary of the Find X6 Pro’s camera capabilities, it highlighted that the phone produced excellent low-light shots, consistently sharp photos and videos, and outstanding portraits with “best-in-class” background blur.
For those unaware, DXOMARK is an independent benchmark and quality-control company that assesses smartphones, lenses, and cameras. DXOMARK rankings aren’t the end-all and be-all of smartphone camera quality, of course. But getting good marks from the company is a more positive sign of a camera’s performance than not.
