The Oppo Find X6 Pro is finally here, and it’s one of the brand’s newest heavy hitters. The main reason? The smartphone’s all-new camera system. The Find X6 Pro’s primary camera is the highlight of the phone, featuring a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor for the main lens. Interestingly, this is the same sensor used in the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro.
Oppo didn’t forget about the other lenses either. Sitting behind the ultrawide lens is a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor. According to Oppo, it’s the largest sensor fitted onto an ultrawide camera to date. The same 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor is then used for the periscope unit. As for the front camera, it continues to use a 32MP IMX709 sensor.
Despite using Sony sensors, the cameras themselves are once again Hasselblad-branded. As a result, users get software features that mimic colors and depth of field of what you would find in a Hasselblad camera. There are also various modes to choose from, giving users more options when it comes to photography.
Other details about the camera include a macro-photography with a minimum focus distance of 4cm. Meanwhile, the Periscope telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom and a 6x hybrid zoom. In addition, all three cameras of Find X6 Pro can shoot uncompressed RAW, making it perfect for post-processing. Aside from photos, the phone supports shooting in full Dolby Vision 4K HDR.
Other specs of the Oppo Find X6 Pro include a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 3168x1440px, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and is available with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Powering the Oppo Find X6 Pro is a 5000mAh battery but supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and even 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. There are three colors available – Brown, Black, and Green.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro was launched in China today, but there’s no word on an international launch just yet. As for price, the Find X6 Pro starts at CNY 5999PHP 48,357USD 824INR 69,845EUR 785 for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the 16GB/512GB model costs CNY 6999PHP 56,418USD 962INR 81,488EUR 915.
