OPPO sold the most smartphones in the Philippines during Q4 2019

According to a report by Canalys, an independent market researcher, OPPO is the leading smartphone vendor in the Philippines.

OPPO has seen a 44% year-over-year growth, taking 27% of the Philippine market share. Closely following behind is Vivo, who has taken over 25% of the market share thanks to its 159% year-over-year growth. Surprisingly, despite the negative 32% growth, Samsung was still able to take the number three spot with over 9% market share.

Perhaps the biggest growth we’ve seen this year is realme with over 709% YoY growth, which translates to over 9% market share. This move pushed Huawei to the number 5 spot. According to the report, Huawei was only able to secure positive growth last quarter thanks to the success of the Nova 5T with GMS support.

Where did they get the abomination they used for the Philippine flag? The triangle is at a wrong angle (likely compressed horizontally), the colors are wrong, and the sun has a face when the last time it had that was the Aguinaldo version.
