POCO F1 launches in India

A new smartphone brand under Xiaomi has launched in India called Pocophone and unveiled their first smartphone, the POCO F1.

The POCO F1 features a hard-coated polycarbonate unibody treated with a 7-layer color process. The POCO F1 boasts toughness and features a reinforced internal frame structure. Running the software is “MIUI for POCO” with POCO Launcher and POCO’s Turbocharged Engine for faster startup, better performance, and more responsive experience. It offers customization options and is focused on fast updates.

In addition to the standard POCO F1, Pocophone also announced the POCO F1 Armoured Edition which features a Kevlar Aramid fiber imported from DuPont USA, which is the same material used in the manufacturing of bulletproof vest. Pocophone says that it is scratch and wear resistant.

Here are the prices for each variant:

  • POCO F1 6GB + 64GB – RS 20,999 (~Php 16,045)
  • POCO F1 6GB + 128GB – RS 23,999 (~Php 18,338)
  • POCO F1 8GB + 256GB – RS 28,999 (~Php 22,158)
  • POCO F1 Armoured edition 8GB + 256GB- RS29,999 (~Php 22,930)

The Poco F1 will be exclusively available in Mi.com and Flipkart on August 29, 2018. It will also be launching on August 27, 2018 in Jakarta, HongKong, and Paris.

  3. Finally! Murang flagship phone na hindi salamin ang likod. Eto ang gayahin ninyo Oneplus. Dapat may stock android version din nito sa global release.
