Along with the Cherry Mobile Omega HD, CM has also announced the Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 – Cherry Mobile’s first quad-core device powered by a Snapdragon processor.

The Flame 2.0 is a dual-SIM smartphone that sports a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touch display, a 5MP camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing, 4GB internal storage, microSD support up to 32GB, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. It is powered by a MSM8225Q 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1,600mAh battery, and runs Android 4.1.2 Jellybean.

The Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 has a price tag of Php6,990 and will be available in the first or second week of April together with the Omega HD.

tama naman ang sabi nya eh hindi sya nag mamarunong ako nakabili ng cherry mobile burst d magamit ang feature laging lag at nag hahang pang txt at tawag lang talaga masabi lang na naka androide ka sayang lang pera sa low cost na cell expect mo na d mo magagamit ng maganda kaya mag isip ng 2 beses bago kayo bumili nito baka magaya kayo saken pati service center nila punta ka ng maaga asahan mo 3-4hrs ang wating time mo its up to u kung bibili ka ng low cost na androide like cm sakit lang sa ulo,,,,,,,

actually tama ka pipes, basura naman kasi si cherry, paasa lang naman sila lagi. maganda lang pakingan na “duo core” “quad core” eh di nama nga magamit ung fuctionality. pa pogi lang unit mo. parang maganda ung wrapper ng regalo mo. tissue naman ung loob.

binibili ng cherry mobile pati yung right na ma-rebrand.
pag meron na tayong sariling atin. tsaka nyo na sabihing tangkilikin ang sariling atin.

cherry mobile is bringin’ chinese and indian phones and tablets here. which is actually good para sa masa.

hindi kayang gumawa ng pinas sa ngayon eh. so ok na yan.

but don’t expect too much.
this is a quad-core cortex a5 based cpu.
entry level.
an exynos 4 cortex a9 dual-core chip will outperform this.

ok pa din. i saw the benchmarks.
nakakalungkot lang talaga eh yung battery.
sana ginawa man lang nilang 1800mAh para talagang masabing “shut up and take my money”.

actually tama si yuu. sa halagang 7k. mag hanap nalang po kayo ng 2nd hand na branded phones na ma maximize niyo ung features. kesa dito na laging lag. pa pogi lang phone mo. android nga. eh parang basic phone lang ung function. e bumili ka nalang ng basic phone na 999php. gamitin naman niyo mga utak pre.

Duh. This phone is designed for the budget conscious and those who cannot afford high end phones from Sony, Apple et al. Pang-masa po ang target. I think it’s already a good phone for the price. Good specs at a very low price is something that is hard to find. Although the build quality is questionable, consumers who wanted a feature phone without paying a hefty price tag will find this phone a good buy.

Kung pwd nmng palang gumawa ng high quality at mamahaling phone, eh d sana yun ang ginawa nila. Talino nyo po kasi. Malamang hindi superb at mura lang eh kasi ang target nila ay yung mga taong may budget constraint. Kayo na kaya magbenta ng kasing ganda ng s3 pero mura. Kayo na magnegosyo.

Kudos to CM! Support Local brands na lng para mas quality at highend specs ang madala dito, suportahan nyo na lng, hawag puro reklamo, kayo kaya magimport nyan?

Look at the Big Picture!!! Dati reklamo kayo dahil 512MB lng memory at mababa processor, ngayon nandyan na 1GB RAM at Quad core na speeds, affordable pa. Be thankful na lng at supportahan kapwa nyo Pinoy para umunlad tayo.

@niel: expandable mem sya. Para sa iba na naghahanap pa ng mas magandang specs or magandang piyesa, wag nman ganyan. D nyo b nkita mura na nga, tapos hahanapan na kagaya ng s3? Lol. I own a iphone5, SIII and a cm phone pro i salute local brands kc kaht papano nkakagawa cla ng way na kaht ganon lng piyesa nila at least they try to make product na mura pero can do the job gaya ng mamahalin ng brand… Kung sa tingin nyo mas may alam kyo e di try nyong gumawa sarili nyong cp hahaha

Eh di ikaw na mayaman. Pa iphone5 SIII at CM phone ka pa jan. Elitista! Burgis! Pakialam ko sa mga telepono mo? Naka prepaid ka sigurado, nakikisagap ng wifi sa kapitbahay at laging naghahanap ng wifi sa mall at coffee shops. Parang jejemon na tanga lang dahil call center agent ka may panggastos sa luho. Bakit may “Growth” ka ba sa trabaho mo? Sumusweldo ka lang, wala ka naman natututunan.

Heto lng masasabi ko @choosy putang ina kang hayop ka. Wag sana bumagsak sa call center ung mga anak mo o magiging anak mo kasi putagris ka kung makapanlait ng trabaho. At panalangin mo makapagtapos mga anak mo para d sila bumagsak sa call center. Putapete!

CM should have used the MediaTek MT6589 chip, better architecture and graphics chip (1.2GHZx4 Cortex-A7 + PowerVR Series5XT GPU) as the new Indian HD quad-core phones are using (Mircomax A116 Canvas HD, probably MyPhone will adopt this, since MyPhone = Micromax with OEM’s) against the Snapdragon MSM8225Q (1.2GHZx4 Cortex-A5 + Adreno 203) in this thing.

Inefficient ang mga Cortex-A5 ng Qualcomm VS sa mga MediaTek Cortex-A7 (My cousin’s MyPhone A848 has better battery performance than a friend’s CM Flare.) :(

cherry startmobile myphone etc..
puro copya lang … mag bebenta ng mura pero low class and bullshit… bkt mo sasayangin pera mo sa mumurahing smartphone kung laging lowbat d maka laro ng aus d magamit ng aus pangit graphics ang bagal ang lag d ma aus camera at mababang internal memory…. at isa pa … mababang ram…

bkt d ma isip ng mga ph brand ng smart phone na kung gusto nila makuha ang phone market ng ph.. gawa sila ng kasing ganda ng S3 note2 na android based.. magandang version ng UI at sarili nilang UI tulad ng samsung touchWiz… HTC HTC Sense etc.. etc… tapos presyohan nila ng mura pero mas maganda sa mga branded…

hindi basura at hindi walang kwenta ang mga CM phones. i have an old cm C50 clamshell and its still fully funtioning. you call that basura?
why would i buy high end phones which cost 3 THREE TIMES THE PRICE if all i do is call,text,skype and play moderate games.

It is intended to replace the ARM9 and ARM11 cores for use in low-end devices.[1] Compared to those older cores, the Cortex-A5 offers the advanced features of the ARM v7 architecture over the v4/v5 (ARM9) and v6 (ARM11) architectures e.g VFPv4 and NEON advanced SIMD. It also allows devices to run current software, which is increasingly focusing on ARM v7 and dropping support for earlier architectures.

Basically the A5 chips are for entry level phones. Kinda weird and funny when somebody says that these A5 chips trumps the A15 Kraits and the A9 MPCores (Optimus G/Nexus 4, High/Med end Galaxy Lines). You get what you pay for ika nga

Another great phone screwed by its battery.

Must say it is becoming the signature fault of the CM brand. If the battery is removable anyway the modding community would be more than happy to solve this.
