Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 855 Plus smartphones you can buy in the Philippines

Qualcomm first announced its flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 855, in December 2018. Months after, it unveiled an even more powerful version called the Snapdragon 855+. Not a lot of smartphones carry both chipsets and very few of those are currently available or will be available for purchase in the Philippines. Check them out!

On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 Pro comes equipped with a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 48MP + 16MP + 8MP triple-rear cameras, 16MP pop-up front camera, and 4,000mAh battery with 30W warp charge.

It also has NFC support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging.

A couple of months after unveiling the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, the company launched its latest flagship, the OnePlus 7T. The standard 7T sports a 6.55-inch display with support for HDR10+, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, 48MP + 12MP + 16MP triple-rear cameras, 16MP front camera, and a 3,800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support. Meanwhile, the 7T Pro has a 6.67-inch QHD+ display, paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.0 2-lane storage, 48MP + 8MP + 16MP triple-rear shooters, 16MP pop-up camera, and a 4,085mAh battery that also comes with Warp Charge 30T. There’s no word yet on the local pricing and availability of the 7T series, but do expect to see it in our shores soon.

ASUS ROG Phone II / ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition

It has a host of features such as three USB-C ports, AirTriggers 2.0, front-facing speakers, ARCore support, and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 30W ROG HyperCharge technology and Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0 support. The ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition carries pretty much the specs as the standard one, but instead, it has the more expansive storage at 1TB and 4G LTE Cat 20. The standard ROG Phone II is already available for purchase while the Ultimate Edition will arrive in November.

Vivo NEX 3

Featuring Vivo’s Waterfall FullView screen, the NEX 3 measures at 6.89-inches, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 storage. The device also has a 64MP + 13MP + 13MP triple cameras on the rear, a 16MP elevating front camera, NFC support, and a 4,500mAh battery capacity that comes with 44W Super FlashCharge technology. Apart from confirming that the NEX 3 will launch in the Philippines, Vivo has yet to unveil the local pricing and availability of the smartphone.
