Realme has just unveiled its newest offering in its home market of China with a very interesting and intriguing look.
Features and Specifications:
Realme commands attention with the design of the GT Neo 5 by adding a transparent window with customizable ring lighting that showcases the chipset. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 144hz refresh rate resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels, and peak brightness of up to 1400 nits. The smartphone also has two variants which offers different charging rates. The 150W version offers a larger 5000mAh battery with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB RAM options with 256GB storage and 150W fast charging, and a 240W version which delivers blazing 240W fast charging that fully charges the phone in as little as nine minutes albeit with a smaller 4600mAh battery and 16GB RAM with 256GB or 1TB storage options. Realme also claims that the 240W variant can charge from 0 to 20% in just 80 seconds. It also has Dolby Atmos dual speakers and supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.
In the photography aspect, the GT Neo 5 showcases a triple camera system with a primary 50MP Sony IMX890 with OIS and a 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The front facing camera is at 16MP.
Pricing and Availability:
The Realme GT Neo 5 will be offered in black, white, and purple colors on both 150W and 240W variants. While it is yet to be released in the Philippines, prices in China are:
