Samsung has just announced two new members of the Galaxy A family, the A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018).
Both phones feature designs that more closely resemble Samsung’s flagship devices, offering large SuperAMOLED Infinity Displays with 18.5:9 aspect ratios. They will have dual front cameras that support Live Focus, Samsung’s portrait mode that allows you to adjust the bokeh effect before or after taking a shot.
They will also be the first non-flagship Samsung phones to support Samsung Pay via MST and NFC, and the first A-series phones to support Samsung Gear VR.
Other important features include IP68 water and dust resistance, digital image stabilization for video, a new hyperlapse video mode, and USB Type-C with support for fast charging.
