Samsung Galaxy J6 and J8 unveiled in India

Samsung yet again launches two new members to their already crowded Galaxy J series — The Galaxy J6 and J8. Powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon or Samsung’s very own Exynos processors, these two devices are the brand’s latest mid-range contenders.

First up, the Galaxy J6. The device sports a 5.6-inch HD+ 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7870 chipset, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB internal storage, Android Oreo, and a 3,000mAh battery. For cameras, we have a single 13MP rear and a single 8MP front.

Next up the beefier Galaxy J8. Powering the device is a 6-inch HD+ 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 450 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, Android Oreo, and a 3,500mAh battery. For cameras, we have a dual 16MP + 5MP rear setup and a single 16MP front.

The Galaxy J6 is priced at Rs. 13,990 (~Php 10,785) for the 3+32GB variant and Rs 16,490 (~PHp 12,712) for the 4+64GB one while the Galaxy J8 is priced at Rs. 18,990 (~Php 14,639).
