The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G 19 is now official as Samsung’s new mid-range device. The device has been launched in India, with highlights in its display and chipset.
In detail, it has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O HDR display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It peaks at 1,200 nits of brightness and is fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
Powering the device is an Exynos 1480 chipset clocking up to 2.75GHz and an AMD Xclipse 530 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Optics include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro. At the front, it has a 12-megapixel selfie shooter situated in a punch hole.
It will ship with One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. It supports dual nano-SIMs, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.
The phone is 7.2mm thick and weighs 180 grams. Plus, it packs a sizable 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W of fast charging via USB Type-C.
The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is currently priced at INR 24,999 (~PHP 17,000) with 8GB/128GB. It’s also available for INR 27,999 (~PHP 19,000) with 8GB/256GB.
There’s no word yet on whether this will be available in the Philippines. However, we’ll keep readers posted if it does, so stay tuned!
