Remember those flexible OLED displays that Samsung loved showcasing? Well it’s here now in the form of the Galaxy Round!
Basically, the company took all of their best internals and packed it with their OLED technology. It features a 5.7-inch flexible 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3GB RAM & a 13MP camera in a thin and curved 7.9mm chassis.
The phone is basically all things Galaxy Note 3, but instead it gives up the stylus functionality for the curvaceous feature set of the device (seen below, “roll effect”). It even has that fake stitched leather back.
Samsung Galaxy Round specs:
5.7-inch full HD flexible Super AMOLED display @ 1920×1080 pixels, 386ppi
Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core
Adreno 330 Graphics
3GB RAM
32GB internal storage
up to 64GB via microSD card
LTE
WiFi

NFC
IR Blaster

13MP rear camera, BSI sensor
1080p @ 60fps, 2160p @ 30fps
1.9MP front-facing camera

Parang IMAX !
jejefrek says:
Yes naman! Another original article by the one and only freking! Wahahahaha! Keep it up bata! :)))
Lourraine says:
Stupid innovation. Who would want a curved phone? Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Nokia can do better designs than this! Another non-sense gadget from Samsung.
samsung tomorrow says:
stolen images! tsk3 poor info
voltes5 says:
Cellphone manufacturers running out of ideas. They are now coming up with useless gimmicks. Curved displays = innovation..using it for cellphone = stupid..sadly, madami padin bibili nyan..pang status symbol lang..
Genuis says:
44K? Seriously? Yan ang tinatawag na OVERPRICED. Way too ugly and not impressive!
orange fan says:
Oh I see lots of samsung haters since all of them are envious apple fans furious with samsung for churning out better ideas and gadgets than their lowly ass-god hahaha!
benchmark says:
as what my officemate said, soon magkakaroon din ng phone na korteng safeguard hehehehe
I think the tech is not good sa phone…maybe sa big screen billboard pede yan…or say sa mga round columns that blocks a concert view, baka pedeng gamitin yan para maging mag mukhang see thru ang structural column.
gets? Nah, masyadong techincal.
asahi says:
ay! curved nga!! haha!
ang panget!!
sabagay, Samsung eh. hahaha! yan lang siguro kaya nila!
abuzalzal says:
Once again, just like the GALAXY GEAR, Samsung attempting to release a half-baked, ill-conceived tech product to the masses for the sake of having done it ”first”.
Granted it is flexible (and unbreakable), but that doesn’t mean you have to over-emphasize it by twisting the dimensions and deviate from the norm….just so people know you own one.
Cons outweigh the benefits, Why would you want to see distorted images popping out of your smartphone?
funds says:
uhmm.. di nila pwede sabihing mas ergonomic magtype kapag ganto ehh.. mas mahirap nga magtype pagganto ehh..ssiguro kung paconvex okay pa..
duterte says:
nway, i would appreciate that slight design change. it would solve my problem when swiping tapos di na makakaabot yong thumb ko sa kabilang side ng screen.
try nyo mga pips: without using any phone, move your thumb sidewards as if swiping. straight line ba o curve ang “na-tatravel(sori wala ako maisip na term)” ng dulo ng thumb ninyo?
“{source 1, 2, 3} {via}”
F12+ESC says:
How come no one’s complaining about the Nexus S’s curved screen (which was actually Samsung’s first smartphone with curved screen)?
Why, oh why?!
Epstein says:
Samsung can gamble because they have the resources to do so. Kung hindi sya mabenta, ok lang.
wew says:
pano kaya to pag nagundergo ng droptest?ano kaya itsura hahaha
kkk says:
pot.pot says:
for me, much better ang flexible kesa round ahaha.
luizmaniebo says:
hi. this is good. but somehow I still look for something extra ordinary. I heard from a friend that LG lauched G2 withe rare key thing, do you also have that? just asking. tnx :)
kent says:
i’d still prefer LG G2 it has a much better design than a curve phone :| G2 have an OIS cam and a rear key button feature its much more convenient
kamehameha says:
yaaaawn! ang boring! la bago, buti pa LG ganda nung bagong labas nila na smartphone kumpara dito..
timtam says:
expensive phone..im not sure about the quality perang hindi siya worth bilhin.unlike the LG G2 phone not expensive and good quality pa.
pjmigs says:
interesting phone, but when it comes to camera mas better parin yung LG G2 phone 13mp camera with OIS super resolution zoom.
watsittuya says:
whats the use of the curve phone?
curve? says:
name says:
i will be loyal with LG,, i think their G Flex is much better and interesting to use. :)
joy says:
bkit curve? ahaha. kakatuwa aman, anu kya idea behind yhis innovation?
tyrone says:
:like: pero try the new one, the G Flex.
don says:
anung use ng curve po?
