Samsung rolls out Android 6.0 update for Galaxy A8

After seeding Android Marshmallow updates for its front-runners, Samsung is now rolling it out to devices that are next in their model hierarchy.

With that, users of Galaxy A8 in other countries like India are already getting the 6.0 version of Android OS so we could expect it to arrive locally soon.

The update has a reported file size of 1112.27MB and with it comes the whole package of Android Marshmallow. If you have a Galaxy A8 you can wait for the OTA notification once it’s available here, but you can also manually check it by going to the Settings menu.
