The Samsung tri-fold smartphone has been teased during the Unpacked event. While there was no official announcement, the presentation it was seen in showcased Samsung’s future plans along with Project Moohan.

Of course, the focus of the event was the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. However, we’re certain that the renders were shown with purpose.
News outlets have been covering rumors that Samsung’s first tri-fold will have a limited production run. There will be about 200,000 units only, expected to launch between July and September this year.
This lines up with Samsung’s tendency to announce foldable devices during the third quarter of the year. Samsung Display has already shown us two tri-fold panels. This includes one with a Z-shape and another with a G-shape.
This is a developing story, but interested readers should expect that this device will be Samsung’s priciest foldable to date.
