Sharp has unveiled a new Android smartphone and, as expected, it’s got some unique features to it.
The Sharp Aquos R sports flagship-grade specs including a 5.3-inch WQHD IGZO display with HDR 10 support and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 835 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Then it has a 22.6MP f/1.9 wide-angle rear camera with optical image stabilization and a wide-angle 16MP front-facing camera.
The phone is water and dust-resistant (IPX8), has a USB Type-C port, a 3160mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0, and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. But, what sets the phone apart from its competitor is its built-in AI called EMOP. Also, it’s got a charging dock called ‘ROBOKOKU’ that faces the user whenever the phone is docked.
