Smartphones You can Buy in PH with Snapdragon 820 CPU

When it comes to processing power, Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 820 has been the choice of majority of the companies in powering their flagship devices.

This is understandable since it offers significant advantages over other chipsets as well as its 810 predecessor. This includes faster LTE and Wi-Fi, smarter processing, and better battery life to name a few. So if you’re looking for a serious device as a daily driver, here’s a list of smartphones rocking the Snapdragon 820 CPU which you can purchase here in the Philippines today.

LG G5

LG’s latest flagship, the G5, is the first on the list. It has a 5.3-inch QHD Quantum display, 4GB RAM,  and unique dual rear cameras consisting of a 16MP main and 8MP wide-angle shooters. It also boasts a modular design that allows you attach a Hi-Fi Plus DAC module or a camera module with a two-state shutter button and 4,000mAh battery. The G5 has an introductory price of Php34,990.

Just last month, OnePlus unveiled its new “flagship killer” and it sports high-end specs for a mid-range price. It has a 5.5-inch display, 6GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage without expansion. The device isn’t officially available here but it can be bought online for Php20,990.

With the Mi  5, you get a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 820 chip and 3GB of RAM on a beautiful body that packs everything you’ll ask for in a flagship handset. It’s like getting a Galaxy S6 at almost half the price. Widget City is selling it for around Php19K.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge

We put the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge last on the list since the official variant here in PH is the Exynos processor. Although other online stores such as Kimstore lists both the Exynos and Snapdragon variants. Nevertheless, both have 4GB RAM, IP68-rated body, and a Sony-made 12MP dual-pixel camera. The S7 was introduced at Php34,990 while the S7 Edge is at Php39,990.
