Just a few days ago, we saw Sony unveiled the new Xperia 5 IV powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and now they’re teasing a gaming device bearing the Xperia branding that launches on September 12 with the tagline “Born to Game: Made for Pro gamers and streamers.”

In Sony’s teaser video, we might be looking at a gaming-centric accessory for Xperia phones, apparently with side-triggers. The title of the video also gives a hint of what’s about to come, “Sony’s Xperia new gaming gear is coming…”

The teaser also featured an eSports player from Japan Scarz team playing that Xperia gaming device. The launch event can be watched on YouTube via Sony Xperia channel on September 12, 1 pm JST.
