The battle of affordable Android smartphones continue to heat up. Just yesterday, Cherry Mobile officially introduced the Flare HD 2.0 priced at Php2,999. It’s not the only Android in the market with that price tag as MyPhone also has the my85 DTV announced a few months back. Which is better on paper? Find out in our quick specs comparison below.

Based on the table above, the new Cherry Mobile Flare HD 2.0 sport almost identical specs as the Myphone my85 DTV, however, it seems like the latter offers more to buyers for its Php2,999 asking price.

It has a larger main camera resolution, slightly larger battery, and updated Android version – Marshmallow. Another big advantage the my85 DTV has, as the name suggests, is the DTV feature. This function is extremely handy especially if you’re the type who doesn’t want to miss out on your favorite TV show.
