TCL foldable smartphones spotted at MWC 2022

Aside from the newly revealed smartphones and tablets during MWC 2022, TCL has seen showcasing foldable concept phones.

Folks from GSMArena managed to have a glimpse on two TCL concept phones.

TCL 360-degree Ultra Flex

This concept phone resembles the 2-in-1 laptops with 360 hinge mechanism. TCL 360° Ultra Flex sports an 8-inch AMOLED display with 2480 x 1860 resolution and supports stylus. No further details were provided.

TCL Fold n Roll

TCL Fold n Roll has two mechanisms to extend its display. It folds like any other foldable phones; however, the left side panel can roll outwards to extend screen real estate.

This phone can be used in three modes. First, as a smartphone with 6.87-inch and the folding panel tucked in. Second as an 8.85-inch phablet where the screen is unfolded. And third as a full-blown tablet mode with 10-inch screen where the rollable panel is extended.

GSMArena said that these concept phones may not reach consumers though.  “But TCL is working hard to bring its first commercially available foldable to the market at an affordable price,” the article added.
