Top Smartphones Under Php10K (Mid-2016)

Today, getting a quality smartphone without paying too much is just a simple task to do. You do not even need to break the bank to get a very capable smartphone.  One way or another, we could see those amazing features from the flagship devices slowly trickling down to the mid-range phones this year. Although manufacturers need to cut some corners to achieve much lower price like not having a quad-HD display, waterproofing, modular component or the fact it doesn’t have an Apple logo, there are still dozens of really good handsets to choose from.

So if you’re looking to pick up a decent handset and not spend too much cash on it, here’s a list of our top smartphones to buy for less than Php10,000. Do note that these are not ranked in any particular order.

ASUS ZenFone Max

ASUS ZenFone Max is  a power bank-acting phone which carries a large 5000mAh battery. Hi, guys, sorry need cheat-er cheatsheet. With a budget max of 10K, which of the models above should I get for:
    1. Reliable battery (at least 8 hrs with data use) – doesn’t heat up too much
    2. Big internal memory (at least 16G usable memory)
    3. Top Android OS
    4. Dual sim
    5. Allows microsd
    6. At least 5.2-inch display?

The models above are all fine and dandy but all good in equal measure. So what’s your best bet? Super thanks!

Also worth mentioning are older flagship devices like xiaomi mi4 and Lenovo vibe z2 pro that both run Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 64 bit quad core processors clocking at 2.5 ghz and adreno 330 gpu. The mi4’s latest price on lazada is more or less P7k while the z2 pro is priced at P9999. Although not a flagship smartphone but sure is a capable one, the Lenovo vibe shot also has a huge price cut on lazada now available for only P7999 with freebies. Hope this helps those who are on the look out for very capable yet affordable handsets.
