News has just broken out that vivo will be merging sub-brand iQOO into its main business, as a means to reduce costs and increase company efficiency.
As reported on 36Kr, iQOO will be merging and integrating teams with vivo. In addition, it was also reported that high-level executives within the company have said that iQOO may no longer have independent stores and counters altogether.
The report highlighted that iQOO and vivo have been sharing research and development teams, supply chains, channel systems, and media resources. However, iQOO did have independent offline stores and sales centers.
As of writing, no official statement from vivo has been released.
