VIVO V11: AI Photography Tips

Mobile photography has evolved significantly throughout these years to the point where it already uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce better images. VIVO is one of those companies that have implemented the technology to its smartphones including its latest premium mid-range device, the V11. However, AI can only help you achieve those great shots and still requires the creativity of the photographer. So if you want to fully take advantage of the VIVO V11’s AI Photography capabilities, here are some tips.

Take advantage of the filters in the camera app.

Alright, so we know that the V11’s cameras are already good in itself, and we know that its AI Scene Recognition does a pretty good job in enhancing your photos, but what if you want to go extra? Well, there are a variety of awesome filters inside the camera app for you to choose from, depending on how you want your photos to look like. You can choose between a vibrant K-Pop-ish color filter down to the ever classic Black & White. How cool is that?

Cluttered background? Portrait Mode (Bokeh effect) will save the day.

Finding a good background is probably one of the most important factors in taking good photos, however, it’s not all the time that we’re lucky enough to spot one. This is also one of the reasons why Vivo’s Portrait Mode exist. What’s also nice about this is that you can adjust how blurred you want your background to be, so that’s really a win-win. Now, all you have to worry about is finding a good subject.

Use the Professional Mode even if you’re not a pro.

You might find it unnecessary to use the Professional/Manual mode, because, well, the AI can already do a better job handling your photos. But hey, it’s nice to tinker once in a while and to be the one in control on how you want your photos to look like. Also, this is a nice stepping stone to learn more about photography.

Go extra with your selfies with the 6 Selfie Lighting Modes.

We know it’s extremely frustrating and tiresome to pick which selfie should you post on your social media sites, which is why there are 6 Selfie Lighting Modes in the V11 to intensify the frustration even more. But kidding aside, these selfie lighting modes will help simulate a different kind of lighting conditions to your selfie. There’s even this very cool rainbow light mode that adds lens effect flare to your selfie.

Don’t be scared to use the Face Beauty effect.

Let’s be honest, applying face beauty effect can be one of the least attractive things you can apply to your selfie because some smartphones are totally bad at nailing it. However, not all face beauty effects are created equal. With the V11, you can apply its AI Face Beauty feature without any dread. This said feature will clear out blemishes and smoothens your skin without totally going overboard, so as a result, you have this realistic, beautified selfie.

Turn on AI Portrait Framing mode.

One thing that we also liked about the V11 is that it is beginner friendly, and you wouldn’t have to worry if you’re having a bad angle, thanks to the AI Portrait Framing mode. This informs you of which angle you should position your camera to achieve the best possible shot.

We know you’re already beautiful, but if you want to enhance it further, AI Face Shaping Technology is there for you.

Oftentimes when taking selfies, the photos that we took are not what we expected it to be. Some make our face look distorted, thin, or fat and we know this can be a bit stressful. You won’t have to worry anymore as the V11 takes care of that by shaping our faces with the use of AI. We also have the option to manually adjust certain aspects, but who needs it, anyway? There’s always the AI Face Shaping mode.
