The Xiaomi 15 Ultra global launch has been confirmed by Xiaomi Group Partner and President Lu Weibing. The news was unveiled via a Q&A video with Chinese fans of the brand.

Lu has also revealed that the device will be unveiled after Chinese new year. In other words, this should be coming soon. Notably though, February 4 is a public holiday in China, so it won’t be during that period of time.
Aside from this, it has also been reported that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global launch will take place during MWC. This will take place in Barcelona around the end of February and the beginning of March. Of course, what Lu says seems to fit into the timeline as Chinese launches tend to precede global.
For those curious about hardware, it’s rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will also have a 2K OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. For the battery, it will pack 6,000mAh with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Optics include a Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultra wide, and a 50-megapixel telephoto. It will also have a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto advertised with 100x hybrid AI zoom.
