Ahead of Xiaomi’s global unveiling of the Xiaomi 15 Series at the MWC Barcelona, the company has scheduled an earlier launch in China.

The so-called ‘Ultra’ event, scheduled on February 27th, will not only highlight the Xiaomi 15 Ultra but also the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra EV and the 2025 RedmiBook Pro 16.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be the brand’s top-of-the-line smartphone boasting significant camera upgrades. Its periscope telephoto lens, reportedly packing a 200-megapixel sensor can do up to 100x AI-enhanced zoom for detailed long-range shots.
However, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has hinted that the price will be higher than the previous 14 Ultra, which started at CNY 6,499 due to increased development and component costs.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, the company’s priciest product yet, will come with a tri-motor setup (V8s+V8s+V6s) that generates a total of 1,548 horsepower.
It’s equipped with the second-generation ‘Kirin’ battery, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of just 1.98 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h.
Then, there’s Xiaomi’s first ‘AIPC’ the 2025 RedmiBook Pro 16 which will be available in China soon after the unveiling.
Xiaomi will also introduce other new devices, including the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro, a central air conditioner, a dual-system refrigerator, a washer-dryer combo, and an AI-powered smart speaker.
