Qualcomm has just recently launched its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with both Xiaomi and Realme having announced on Weibo posts that they will soon be releasing smartphones that pack in the new chipset.
Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi Note 12 Turbo while Realme has confirmed its upcoming Realme GT Neo5 SE will pack in the new chipset.
Furthermore, insider Yogesh Brar has revealed that the POCO F5 will also pack in the new chipset as well.
Moreover, it’s also rumored that Qualcomm will soon be launching another chipset, the Snapdragon 685.
A midrange chipset that is also rumored to be coming to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 4G.
Xiaomi has confirmed a global launch of the Redmi Note 12 series on March 23 with both the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Note 12 4G rumored to be revealed at the event.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is rumored to launch by April and have a 6.74-inch OLED display, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 64MP main rear sensory, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
