Alongside the launch of the thinnest foldable yet, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, is its sub-brand’s Redmi K50 Ultra boasting the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset, a triple 108MP rear camera setup, and a 120W charging capability. This device somewhat resembles the Xiaomi 12 Series with the look of its rear camera module.
There’s also a ‘Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Summer Edition’ of Redmi K50 Ultra which is themed after the aesthetics of Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, and limited to only 20,000 units produced. The device is now up for pre-orders in China, and will go on sale August 16th. Previously, there were reports of POCO global devices being rebrands of China-launched Redmi K series.
