Hot off the heels of being named as the 4th biggest smartphone manufacturer, ZTE has recently announced four new additions to their smartphone lineup in Russia. Check out what these new handsets from the Chinese manufacturer after the break.

The company’s new offerings include 3 dual-SIM Android smartphones. Two of which (V887 and V889) are dual-core handsets, while the V790 sports a single core processor. Although these phones have just been recently announced, it’s said some of these (V790 and V887) are already available locally through MemoXpress’ online shop.

There’s no word how much the 5-inch will cost, but the V790 retails for PhP4,490 while the V889 costs PhP7’990. At that price, ZTE’s going to have a tough time competing against the key players in the local entry-level market such as Cherry Mobile and Lenovo.

Along with these dual-SIM handsets, the company also announced a 4.5-inch smartphone in the form of the Grand Era V985. At 7.9mm, this device claims the title as one of the thinnest quad-core smartphone in the market. In addition to its slim body, the device is outfitted with a HD IPS display, a pair of snappers (8MP main and 1.3MP ff) and an 1800mAh battery.
