Kia Philippines has introduced an all-new model and an additional Stonic variant—the fourth-generation Kia Sorento and the Kia Stonic Style Edition.
The 2022 Kia Sorento comes with a sleek and sporty design and the iconic tiger-nose grille. According to the company, the Sorento boasts its spacious and luxurious interior, including leather seats, with the SX variant’s power seats with driver memory, front-seat cooling and heating, and more.
In addition, the 7-seater has other practical amenities that take into account the comfort of passengers even in the second and third rows.
Moreover, Kia mentioned that the 2.2L Smartstream Diesel and DCT combination offer enhanced power, efficiency, and more precise shifting (compared to the previous generation).
The Sorento also offers advanced safety features including Blind Spot View Monitor, 360-Degree Surround View Camera, Rear Cross and Forward Collision Assist, and Lane Keep Assist available for the SX variant.
The SX variant comes with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and wireless mobile phone charger. Also, an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a 6-speaker system are standard for the line-up.
With Kia, all vehicles come with a 5-year or 160,000 kms warranty (whichever comes first). In addition, owners are also entitled to after-sales services nationwide and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
The all-new Kia Sorento 4×2 SX 8DCT (priced at PHP 2,588,000) will be available starting the fourth week of November, while the 4×2 EX 8DCT (priced at PHP 2,398,000) will be on the market by January 2022.
On the other hand, the Kia Stonic Style Edition is a stylish subcompact SUV that sports award-winning aesthetics with modern and practical features, according to Kia.
Like the all-new Sorento, the Kia Stonic Style Edition also carries the new logo and features stylish body skirts plus blacked-out wheels. It also features a unique Style Edition badge at the rear. The Kia Stonic Style Edition 1.4 AT is priced at PHP 895,000, and it will be available by the fourth week of November.
