In an effort to reach wider audience, the Lopez-owned network has recently made the ABS-CBN TVplus, aka “Ang Mahiwagang Blackbox” available at Lazada.
The ABS-CBN TVplus offers free-to-air digital channels including ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Sports and Action and four exclusive channels (dzMM Teleradyo, Yey, Knowledge Channel and CineMo) in some areas in North Luzon region and in Metro Cebu.
Like the DTTV blackbox that you can get off a physical store, the ABS-CBN TVplus that is being offered in Lazada will also come with a standard one-year warranty, an ABS-CBN Mobile SIM card, and has the same price tag of Php2,500USD 43INR 3,612EUR 41CNY 310 a pop.

Im currently based here in Baguio. I tried this (kahit mahal ang price) and I found to be more practical kesa magpapakabit ka pa ng cable. Super linaw ng signal. So I terminated na our cable subscription. Total eh news lang naman at cartoons ang pinapanood sa bahay so okay lang na walang cable. Hopefully, they’ll add more channels na kasama doon sa 5 libreng channels. Overall eh satisfied naman kami sa bahay.

The RCA and the TV Plus will have no visible difference in terms of video quality with respect to digital broadcast sa ngayon kasi lahat ng digital broadcast ay naka SD format lang.
Yung HD media player niya walang DTS audio support so pag nasa 4 GB+ yung mkv movie mo, walang sound.
So, if ever bibili ka pa lang, alam mo na kung ano dapat mong bilhin. Mas mahal na TV Plus with 4 additional TV Plus channels na di mo masasagap sa RCA TV Box or yung mas murang RCA TV box na may HDMI cable out, built in media player na not compatible with DTS audio na movies at walang Cinemo, Yey!, Knowledge Channel at DZMM Teleradyo…
