[ACER IFA Berlin 2025] Acer Iconia X12 and X14 tablets announced

Acer has expanded its tablet lineup with the unveiling of the Iconia X12 and Iconia X14, both packing premium displays and sleek designs for users on the go. The Iconia X12 sports a 12.6-inch WQXGA AMOLED touch display with in-cell tech, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 400 nits brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp details for work or play. Weighing just 500 grams, it’s extremely portable and features a matte black finish for a modern look.

Under the hood, the X12 runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. There’s a 13MP main camera with flash for low-light shots, and a 5MP selfie camera for video calls. Users can expect immersive sound from quad stereo speakers, and connectivity is covered with dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Optional accessories include a stylus, detachable keyboard, and magnetic kickstand for added productivity and flexibility.

The Iconia X14 steps up with a larger 14-inch FHD OLED display housed in a stylish Iron Gray chassis with ZeroFrame design and built-in kickstand. It features a processor with integrated NPU and up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, with 256GB fast UFS 3.1 storage that’s expandable up to 1TB. Users get enhanced experiences through built-in AI: gesture controls via “AI Smart Sensing”, automatic video upscaling with “AI Super Resolution”, and “Smile Camera” for instant shots using facial or gesture recognition. Camera setup includes an 8MP rear shooter with flash and 5MP front camera. The X14 promises up to 10 hours of battery life, plus Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port for reliable connectivity
