Established tipster Evan Blass shared that the Lenovo Legion Go 2 is reportedly launching at IFA Berlin on September 5. He shared some materials on the upcoming device via an X post, along with device specs.

The second-gen Legion Go will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor. It’s built on Zen 5 and RDNA 3.5 architecture. Graphics-wise, it has a Radeon 890M GPU under the hood.
Storage options may go up to 2TB with as much as 32GB of RAM. This iteration of the Legion Go will also ship with Windows 11 Home.
For display, it will have an 8.8-inch OLED screen with 1600p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. What’s new is the addition of fingerprint-resistant coating, a fingerprint sensor, and a rear button layout redesign.
Lenovo will also have detachable controllers make their return for this model. The prototype for this model was unveiled at CES 2025, which featured a 74WHr battery supported by 65W fast charging.

Changes to this are still up in the air, but the Lenovo Legion Go 2 is positioned as the company’s next-gen handheld gaming PC. It’s set to compete with devices like the ASUS ROG Ally and Steam Deck handhelds.
