Acer Predator Triton 500 SE, Helios 500 w/ 11th-gen Intel Core i9, RTX 30 Series, now official

Acer recently announced its latest notebooks powered by the 11th-gen Intel Core H-series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series laptop GPUs, the Predator Triton 500 SE and the Predator Helios 500.

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE is a “special edition” notebook, sporting a 16-inch 16:10 display with three panel options: 165Hz WQXGA LCD display; a 165 Hz WQXGA Mini LED panel with 1250 peak nits and 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut; and a 240 Hz WQXGA IPS PolarBlack panel with a 3 ms response time and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

It also features an all-metal chassis, uses Acer’s Vortex Flow cooling design with triple-fan cooling system, 5th-gen AeroBlade 3D Fan, five dedicated heat pipes for the CPU and GPU, Intel Killer E3100G Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer WiFi 6 AX1650i, Control Center 2.0, PredatorSense, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports.

Powering it by up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i9 Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU, up to 64GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 memory, up to 4TB PCIe Gen4 storage, and up to 12 hours of battery life.

Next is the Acer Predator Helios 500 that features a 17.3-inch display that comes in a 4K mini LED 120Hz panel with AUO AmLED tech or FHD 360Hz display. It also has Acer PowerGem for heat dissipation, Acer’s Vortex Flow tech, 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fan, PredatorSense to enable Predator Pulsar lighting, and WASD keys that can be enhanced with Acer’s Racing keys or Mag Force keys, which feature MagTek mechanical switches.

For connectivity, it has one HDMI 2.1, one mini-DP 1.4, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4, three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports that support offline charging, and one RJ45 port. An Intel Killer E3100G Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i, Control Center 2.0, DTS:X Ultra audio, and optional Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro 5G.

Powering it is an overclockable 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU, 64 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory, and a pair of PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and one SATA HDD.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
