ASUS Zenbook S 16 debuts at COMPUTEX ’24: 16” OLED, AMD Ryzen AI 9 365

ASUS unveiled a wave of laptops at COMPUTEX, but the Zenbook S16 steals the show.

This 16-inch machine boasts the company’s proprietary “Ceraluminum” chassis — a lightweight, durable blend of ceramic and aluminum. Surprisingly thin (1.1cm) and light (1.5kg), it’s ideal for travel.

The laptop packs the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor with on-device AI processing. It uses up to 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD storage, and the cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7.

For thermals, it deploys a silent (25dB) dual-fan cooling system with a vapor chamber, enabling a 29W TDP without throttling. The display is a 16-inch 3K OLED marvel with HDR, Dolby Vision, and Pantone validation. Low blue light emission (TUV and SGS certified) protects your eyes. It also gets Harman Kardon’s 6-speaker Dolby Atmos setup.

Inside is a 78Wh battery paired with a 65W USB-C adapter. Despite its thin profile, ASUS includes a full range of ports: USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-C 4.0 ports, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack.
