Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML Unofficially Lands

When we visited the store where we spotted the ZE500CL almost two weeks ago, we noticed that they also have an ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML on display which is being sold for Php13,560USD 231INR 19,589EUR 220CNY 1,683.

The ZE551ML that we saw there has 32GB of internal storage, but only has 2GB of RAM. We have yet to see the 4GB of the variant of the Zenfone 2, and even the store personnel we talked to wasn’t sure if they will bring the said model in the country.

We were supposed to buy a unit from them when we were there, but we were told that they’ve already ran out of stock, and they’re still uncertain if a new batch of units will arrive later this week.

Like the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500CL that they’re selling, the ZE551ML does not come with a local warranty from ASUS Philippines and will instead be covered by the store’s one (1) year service warranty and seven days replacement for factory defects. The service warranty only covers the labor costs, but consumers will have to shoulder the cost of the components that will be replaced if anything happens to it.

We will be in Jakarta, Indonesia from today unit the 22nd for the regional launch of the Asus Zenfone 2.
